We can call it the NEXT life, or the AFTERLIFE, but not the "second life."
I believe in the NEXT life when it comes to ultimate justice in the world (because we don't always have justice in THIS world--like children who get cancer or criminals who get away with murder--like OJ Simpson), but I also believe that there is a lot to accomplish and enjoy in THIS world, and I am in no rush to leave it and I hope that G-d allows me to stay here for a VERY LONG TIME!
