Homework, September 24 (due Sept. 28)
Write a paragraph in which you discuss your future plans. Where will you be in life next year? In five years? In ten years? Will you get married or will you remain single? Will you have children? If yes, when? How many children do you think you will you have? What kind of work will you do? What else will you do in your life? Discuss both your personal and professional aspirations.

Well. Let me think about it. Well there are a lot of things that I wish to do in my life. Actually I consider myself a dreamer.
ReplyDeleteI don’t really think that I am going to get married. But I don’t want to be alone so, I am probably going to look for someone to live with or share my live with but not really get married.
For awhile I don’t consider the possibility of having a baby, not at all.
I think that having a baby takes plenty of responsibility and also it is something that takes a lot of money to support.
I’m going to continue studying. Actually I would like to attend another college. I want to become ( will be ) a physician someday.
That is the kind of work that I expect to do in the future.
Considering myself a dreamer, well, I have some wishes like, I want to learn how to ride a horse, to pilot a plane, to learn how to ski on the ice.
Anyway, Since I wont get married, I know I’m going to have enough time and money to reach all my dreams.
About my future, I have a very particular plan. I want to finish my language program early. Then I will apply the master degree. If I can enter into the UH, I will study hardly .I will study for about 3 years. During this time, I want to find a job. If I find a job, I can save more money. Moreover, due to the work experiences, I can find a good job after I graduate. About my wedlock, I am going to marriage one year later.
ReplyDeleteAfter I finish my study, I am going to find a good job in the U.S first. I want to work for computer company, because my major is computer science. When I will have worked for 5 years, with the international work experiences, I will come back to my country.
When I go back to my country, I want accede to a big and famous company .I am going to do some work as manage. If I have free time, I will do some business by myself.
I have many things know in my mind and I wish I can do it all. Will .. next year I don’t know where I will be, maybe in Houston or in my country. It depends in my husband company. If I will be in Houston I am going to complete my study. I want to be perfect in English, because English language is a very important skills in my country to get a job . But if I will be in my country next year , I am going to find a job for myself. I hope I can find what I am looking for .
ReplyDeleteIn the last three years my husband and I we weren’t in a good health. However I hope that every thing will be fine and getting better than what we were last years. So I can bring brothers and sisters for my only soon, and I hope that our small family can get bigger and bigger than what we are now.
My husband and I we are planning to build a house in this coming years. I hope we can do it as soon as we can. Also I hope I can be a good mother for my kids :)

ReplyDeleteIn fact, there are many things in my mind right now,i do not know what things will come to me. There are many many things that make me worry about. last 2 months, when i stayed in VietNam, I thought that I will concentrate to study and find a job to complete my study plan. However, after that evrything has changed in my mind because my health is not good at all. I hope my health will be better and I will have more lucky things to help me pass this time.
As you know, I have have a dream to become a successful hotel manager who can manage a resort. I can make my customers feel convenience when they choose my service...
This is my first year in the U.S. , I have a lot of goals to achieve.
ReplyDeleteI plan to stay in Houston for three years because I am really interested in business world. Thus, I need to work very hard to achieve my dream. After i finished my master degree, I am going to seek a job in the U.S, I will like to work for an international business company as an accountant. I plan to get marry at 28 and have 2 children. In my later life, I will like to travel around the world, Europe and Japan for instances.

ReplyDeleteI have many plans in the next years.This semester,i want to perfect my english.then i will probably stay in Houston.I'm not sure because i think to continue my studies to New York or Atlanta.by the moment i'm happy here.Next if i finished my studies maybe i will come back in my country to create my company and to become a big business man.Or i could stay in USA if i get a good job.i will probably get marry at 30 and have 4 children or maybe more.I am going to make many factories and stores in my country and i'm going to help poor persons that i can help.I like to travel so i'm going to visit egypt,india,china,japan,south africa,brazil,mexico,russia,hawai islands and others dream's destinations.

well, let see , at this time i am going to finish my first semester here in Houston,than i am thinking to move to other college in order to continue my seconde semester. i guess it will be in Miami , cause i have my close familly there.
in five years , i will have completed all my english lessons, in the college at miami ( i believe that it will be take less then 5 year..)
and i will start my education for life.
i will be studying law or nutrition , this is both of the subjects that hve been interesting me since i was a child.
In about 10 years , i guess i will be already married with a great husband:) ( i am playing)
i don't know about childrens yet, and how manyi will have, it is too early to talk and discuss about this "sensitive" subject..but
of cours , i am wishing me the best!.

This semester is my last language class ,because I have been admitted to ASU, so I'm studying in Arizona next semester. I already worry about ASU life ,because I have to compete with American students. I will study hard this semester. If I waste my time, I will not contend with other students.

When I go back to Korea, I'm going to find my job. I am interested in a jounal field, so I hope to work in my intersting part.

firstly, I'm going to finish studying English and getting a scholarship from my country to continue my study in UH.Then, I am going to study Electrical Engineering.After getting bachelor's dgree, I'm going to get married and apply master degree here with my wife.

ReplyDeleteNext year I’m going to finish the English language program . Then I will be enrolled at the University of Houston , to prepare my masters program in finance and perhaps I will spend two years.
By the year 2012 I will have already graduated .Then ,I’m going to plan my career at my country .Having job at the Finance Ministry is my top goal. In addition , having my own business in the real estate and construction will be included in my career .
In the personal way , I think it is too early for me to think about marriage and to have a children .I prefer to keep this as a deferred step in life.

ReplyDeleteI came here with a plan that can be a turning point in my life. First, by the next September, I will have been finishing my language course. After that, I will enter the University of Houston for master degree and major in the education in mathematics for two years. At the same time, I will get the math teaching certificate here. For the sake of that, I have to study hard now and improve my English skills. Finally, after three years, I will go back to my country and resume my office. At that time, I will face myself with having a exclusive ability as a teacher. At the present, I stand at the important point to develop myself.
ReplyDeleteI'll be in Houston next year. I'll be in USA in five years. I probably will return to China ni ten years. I'll get married and have children the mor years later. I'll have two children. I'll become a chemical engineer. I'll travel all around the world, and I'll have my own company.
ReplyDeleteIn the nearest future I am going to study and impove my English at the LCC. Next month, I am trying to get the driver license and Texas ID! I will return to my house on Christmas holliday and celebrate it with my family, I hope so! Or I will stay in Houston by myself. In nest year I will also stay here and I will try to pass the TOEFL test!
ReplyDeleteIn the next five years, I will study and get a certain degree of UH. I have not decided where to go and what to do, maybe I will come back home and help my parents or try to get a good job and earn a lot of money. When I have job and money, I will try to get married, And I wish I will have two boys. But all those things will happen at least after ten years!!!
If I can choose a job I will choose to be a CEO of a huge and famous company or a rich, big boss with a lot of business. It's my dream now, that means I will have to work very hard.
I have a aspiration that to know more than six languages. Finally, in my live I will go to Paris one time to see how nice is it! ^^
I don't decide my future yet. So I came here to think about my life. I have two plans. One is that achieve a degree of Dr. and live in USA. On the other hand, another is that study English for a few month and go back to Korea to work at the company. If I choose first one, i'm going to study in USA next year. And i'm going to get married in 5 years. But I think That time, I won't have a child. Because maybe That time I will be studying for a degree of Dr. After undergraduate school, I will try to get a job at a state organ and I will live in USA. If I choose second one, I'm going to go back Korea next year. And I'll look for foreign Company. If I get a job, I'll get married immediately.

I will probably be in Venezuela next year because it's my native country and I have my family there.I have been felt very nice in Houston but I miss my boyfriend a lot. We will probably get married in December 2010 because we are already to have a new life together. My boyfriend is Veterinarian and he always is going to work in his ranch. On the other hand, I am Computer Enginner and I will probably work in a company or I will open myself company. After that, I will go to think about have baby. Also, we will probably have three babies because they are very importants in the matrimony. In short, I will be very happy if my plans will be sucessful.

ReplyDeleteNext year after finishing English program, I will study business in the U.S. Now I am waiting for my degree evaluation to know exactly which program I will be accepted to study. I like study environment here, but I also need to study quickly because if I stay here for a long time, my family must spend more money.
After I get bachelor degree, I'll come back to my family and work in VietNam. I will work hard to get work experience, and I also practice to take the GMAT test in that time.
In five years, I hope I will come back to the U.S again to get a master degree.
I plan I will get married about 27 years old when I will have already completed my master degree, and then we'll have 2 children : a girl and a boy. :( . But it's difficult to plan because it doesn't depend on me.
I have many things to do in the future. I plan to finish my study in three years and I would like to be a teacher in the university. I think that I will have much interesting experience on my study and my life here. When I go back to china ,I will tell my student about these .They will enjoy it. Another, I plan to travel to more cities in the USA.
