La Boheme at the Museum of Fine Arts, this Sunday at 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Teruhiko Toda, my former student from Japan who is a concert pianist, has invited us to come see him perform in the Museum of Fine Arts on Sunday, December 6th. He will perform La Boheme with singers about 30 min two times starting from 2:30 and 3:30 pm. He said he would be very happy if we could come by and enjoy the arts and his performance. The entrance to the museum and the performance are FREE.

I am planning to go there with my kids, although its not 100%. It would be great if a bunch of us could come! I'm sure that Teruhiko would be delighted and we would all benefit from the good time!

It's funny how we describe winter weather as a "threat" here in Texas!!

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS TEXAS AND
INTO SOUTHEAST TEXAS ON FRIDAY. MUCH COLDER AIR WILL ALSO FILTER
INTO THE REGION DURING THE DAY AS THIS DISTURBANCE MOVES OVER THE
AREA. STRONG LIFT ASSOCIATED WITH THE DISTURBANCE WILL COMBINE
WITH ENOUGH MOISTURE AND COLD AIR SO THAT WINTER PRECIPITATION
WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS DURING THE DAY FRIDAY.
PRECIPITATION WILL POSSIBLY START AS RAIN BUT CHANGE TO SNOW
DURING THE DAY AS TEMPERATURES FALL. THIS SCENARIO REMAINS RATHER
UNCERTAIN SINCE THERE IS STILL SOME QUESTION AS TO WHEN THE

Reminder: Bring your folders on Friday

I know that you guys are probably cramming for your tests right now. However, it is not recommended for you to pull an all-nighter! A good night's sleep is essential before taking tests in order to think clearly, so make sure to hit the sack early and catch some z's.

I want to remind you to bring your folders on Friday so that we can have them in case of appeal.

Finally, I hope Mr. Gregg's test is as easy as pie for you. If you have studied all semester, then the test should be a piece of cake and you should ace it.
